Artist's Comments

Scanned hand-drawn doodles colored in with water-color pencils.

This took me a period of two months to complete.

Very nice! It reminds me of a Santana Vinyl cover and of Yoshitaka Amano's work! ^_^

I dont usually like this type of art, but I like this one. FEEL HONORED. Just kidding.. I'm in a kidding mood today. This is cool though. I used to try coloring, then I started to hate color and never use it anymore.. but great job, I gonna look at more now.

Woo. Nice flowing forms and stuff.

bigger! i would love to see closer the detail in this.

i am really drawn to the bottom right hand corner, it looks so obscure and obsolete, but in that and the other areas like it, i think i could loose myself.

the whole feel is from another realm.. very surreal. i'd love to have this as a poster. :) (Smile)

Haha! This is the first piece I check out and I'm already stunned. :) (Smile)

This is so awesome! Wonderful colouring. Pure beauty. I wish I had a super huge version of this hanging over my bed, so that I could stare at it at night. It would surely help if I have trouble sleeping.

The picture contains so many things one can connect memories to. And in all, the picture reminds me of a movie I saw a long time ago, about a boy who travels to another world through a book. He gets to see a lot of this wonderful world, and in the end it's up to him to save it. The memories I connect with smaller parts of the image is more interesting though. Like the little tree for example...
One summer, a friend and I went out to his grandparents country house to build our own little house in the trees. And I remember us sitting in our tree, looking down at the meadows and a railway trail (Rail? train rail? I don't know what it's called.). On a meadow were trees much like this one. We made sure the train passed the meadow when it should by having our own 'check book'. Lemonade and biscuits in the trees... Mmm...

I could easily stare at this for hours, methinks. So many elements that make it special to me. And to you, I'm sure.

It's beautiful. Thanks a lot for sharing.

the detail in this work of art (and that is an understatement) is impeccable. all of the colors and the flow of it as well as the different scenes that seem to make up her dream world in addition as her dress as i see it are fascinating... and the sea-world and her mermaid-like state make this so appealing. this is going into my favorites.

I got lost in this image, an awesome and hypnotizing work :D (Big Grin)
